STOCK MARKET SNAPSHOT - WEEK 46
The GSE performance for the week was characterized by three gainers and three losers. Stocks in the Banking,Petroleum,Food and Mining sectors witnessed price changes.
GOIL,Fanmilk Limited and AADs were the only gainers which added GH¢0.03.GH¢0.02 and GH¢0.20 , GH¢4.32 and GH¢0.31 respectively.
On the losing stream,SG-SSB lead the drag with a GH¢0.13 loss ahead of its rights issue to close at GH0.43. EBG followed with a GH¢0.07 decline to close at GH¢3.02. ETI also shed GH¢0.02 to close at GH¢0.19.
All other share prices remained stable.
The GSE Index extended its losses into the week,staying generally on the low side despite the marginal gain mid week. The GSE Index lost 300pts (4.66%) on the week to close at 6,131.70 pts. This culminated in YTD change of -41.22%.
Downside performance resulted in a 1.36% decline in market capitalization to GH¢15,797.29m reflecting in YTD change of -12.28%.
Total volume and value traded inched up by 23.96% in the week,representing 2,699,500 shares valued at GH¢607,548.
Total volume traded by GOIL was 36,000 shares valued at GH¢6,630.00.
The week opened with GH¢0.17 per share and gained GH¢0.03 to close the week at GH¢0.20. |
