As part of GOIL’s social responsibility and consciousness, the company contributes in diverse ways to various organizations. Various donations have been made towards the development of sports, health, education and many others.
The Company has made major donations to the Ghana National Fire Service, Red Cross Society of Ghana, Panafest, School of Engineering, KNUST, Stadium Disaster Fund, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Independence Day Celebration, Farmers’ Day celebration and provided towards various educational programmes.
GOIL DONATES TO FIVE INSTITUTIONS
Five institutions,mainly orphanges have each received donations worth Sixteen Million Cedis. This donation is part of the Company's yearly program of giving back to the less priviledged in our society.
The insttutions who benefitted from this year's program are:
The Countryside Chilren's Home at Bawjuase
Weija Leprosarium
Cape Coast School for the Deaf
Kumasi Children's Home and
Tamale Children's Home.
The institutions received an amount of Tren Million Cedis, in additions to assorted food items worth Six Million Cedis. The food items included: Bags of Rice,Sugar,Milk,Washing and Bath Detergents,Disinfectants,School Uniforms,Sweets,Bathroom Slippers,Insectide Spray(GoilTox),and some used clothing.
The Company hopes the donation would help these institutions meet some of their needs.
